When he won the Courage (John smiths or whatever it was crappity smack called) i was next to his. Just below were Frank Barlow and Bob Green.
I had about 6 lb to finish 4th, - lost one chub on waggler and one on the stick, - both bite offs.
Think Sam had 9 lb, it would have been touch and go with them rub a dubs
Never got an invite again
