I have recieved an invitation from Morfax AC for Marsh members to fill a minimum 10 pegs on their match.
There is a Jinx match on the day before plus an open night match on the Friday. Several of us also fish the Jinx matches and we have permission to stay over. its not a problem if we dont get 10 as I have a number of people who will fill the pegs.

Well who wants it.

It cant go on the list as a temporary member until your name has gone before the committee and obtained the required number of votes.

Next committee meeting is 22nd August.

Just a thought, but as Gem had to miss a match there when Simps dragged her off to IKEA, wouldn't it be a nice gesture to offer the place to Gem if one is available, especially as her Dad is an honorary temporary member?

Well that sounds like a good idea Peter. I am not convinced that Si will be able to stay and fish on the Sunday judging from the conversation I heard when I was on the phone to him.

" Can I stay and fish Rolfs on the Sunday Gem"
"Yes on one condition"
"Whats that?"
" You finish ALL the jobs I gave you before you go. AND I MEAN ALL THE JOBS"
" Yes Dear"

So we may find Si giving his place to Gem. The only downside is that we could then get Minxed

Lol, his face was a picture and i always wanted to say that hehe.

Coarse he can fish, hes done a very good job around the flat and deserves it.

Thanks for the offer of a place, but to be honest 1 day is enough for me at the mo, plus itll give me chance to visit family or go shopping
