peggers put 4 pegs to close together 3 4 5 6 dave drew peg three then opted for the peg they called the joker on the far bank i was in peg 5 the wind was blowing a gale in our backs pushing the fish to the far side of the pool tried method feeder to the point of the island most of the day with all types of baitnever had a bite till the last 15 mis then had 2 small carp one about a 1lb and another about 2lb on the whistle caught on catmeat pellets we started this match at 12 o clock and fished till five because they said it fishes better in the afternoon thank god we didn t start earlier all in all it was a loveley pool and well done j.c

here goes , got to my peg island was 20 metres away :( wind across , then steve collet says bad draw today cuz of wind i thought wish i had peg 3 you all know me pole only , well with the wind decided to set up feeder a rarity , used preston pellet feeder with 4 inch hook length , soaked pellets in then the hook with corn on , capped with a few more pellets , cast tight to edge of island , picked up 6 carp all 3lb 8oz to 4lb in the first 3 hours lost 4 bigger fish which shot through the reeds & broke me no bites in last 2 hours , i feeder fished for the full match unheard of , congratulations to chris about time mate & well done to coxy with his chub catch , on the day we raised £100 for the mcmillan nurses so well done all

Fished pole at 13 mtrs for 3hours had 4 small carp changed to maggot feeder to the tree opposite . The tip never stoped bouncing ,waited for it to rip round and had some nice chub ended up 3rd .Not as good as i expected i know there is a lot of fish in this pool .

I had nothing for the first 3 hours then hit a steady flow of small carp which crappity smack off for the last 30 Min's started on a small method feeder to the far bank with a pop up 8m boilie. This line only produced one small carp.

Moved to my 2nd line which was about 12m to my right right into a small bunch of reeds after about 20 Min's started to get some indications which was followed by a run of 8 or 9 small carp and a chub on a new secret bait im testing
