Fished on the Birmingham Mainline in Wolverhampton.
24 fished.

After 24 hrs of heavy rain and sleet followed by a hard overnight frost the canal was always going to be unpredictable and with the resident stamp roach unwilling to feed it was a very hard match for most.

This was not the case for former Shakespeare star John Fowler who came out an easy winner from peg 314 with a catch of 10 skimmers and a few roach that weighed 15-6-1.

In second place but a long way behind was Drennan North West team man Ian "Fozzie" Moulton who after a hard couple of hours finally found a few roach to finish with 4-7-0 from peg 323.

1st John Fowler 15-6-1
2nd Ian Moulton 4-7-0
3rd Derek Jackson 3-2-8
4th Andy Billington 3-2-3
5th Roger Baker 3-2-0
