the red dots show the BAA waters, I believe we are on the opposite bank, between the weir and the bridge :-/

Correct Bullah Image

There was a suggestion earlier in the week that a match had been won with ounces and that I switch this to the cut

I learnt last night of a decent pleasure catch of a double figure net of small barbel.

Also in difficult conditions, the first host club match last weekend had been won with 6lb - a few solitary barbel had figured in nets along with dace and the usual silvers although the bleak shoals were missing - that's me done for then on Sat Image

So that was a little more encouraging, plus a few members have spoken to me 'looking forward' to the match

The other difficulty I have these days with 'switching' a match is that I havent everyones tel no..............and not everyone contacts me to check if venues are on/off, even in flood conditions.

So even if it was decided to switch a venue there is always the risk of a member who was uncontactable turning up to the original venue...........

At this moment in time we still stand a chance of even having a few more on the bank than at the last pool match......... Image

If using a sat nav, type in Fladbury and drive right through the village, river is to your left until you cross it at Jubilee bridge. Park up on lhs carpark after crossing it

Naturally very interested in this one lads.

Really dont care there wont be loads caught, I just enjoy this fishing, as well as commercials :)

Some of my very fondest memories in recent years have been of Avon matches further downstream at Eckington. Can be quite a few small fish down there.

It's smashing when it comes together and a there's a few fish in the net.
