Hopefully welder can answer or help with this. Ive always wondered what happens to the fish at this  venue.

The venue is on the Hednesford to rugeley rd< theres a lay by with 3 lakes along. I know the 1 (furthest away from the lay by ) is owned on its own, but the 2 behind the lay by are owned by (i think) the swan in Rugeley £12 a year ticket  Image.

The question Ive got and this as had me wondering for years and that why i ain't joined is........... during the winter the lakes are full of water and people fishing them, Autumn is the same so is spring. Ive seen some nice roach and decent carp come out and am told theres some nice perch and pike in there, but in the summer the lakes are bone dry holes with not a drop of water in them. So what happens to the fish when the pools empty Image Image

Thought the bottom one - nearest Rugeley - was run by Lea Hall?

There's been liner problems on this one a few times in the past, but never noticed the other two dry Image

tk you have the one closest to rugeley, then a path along the side and a pool to its left then one closest to hednesford (not on the layby) When i enquired 2 years ago it was for the middle pool but the bloke said they owned the one on its right aswell (closest to rugeley ) thats why i thought they were both owned together so i appologise if im wrong and some one owns 1 each. Its the 1 on the right (rugeley and the middle one which ive seen dry and that is the reason i never joined as until this day i never worked out were the fish went

I think the cause of them drying out was somthing to do with the old pit works and the ground having subsided has created a crack under the clay in the pool, i read in my sisters local paper (Express & star, i think )a local angling club was trying to raise money to put a liner in or have it repaired, the fish though were put in the other pools i think by some of the locals. You on about Yates Frank?

Don't use it now, but used to have a club card from them about 20 years ago for the first section (boats/yard) that they controlled
