drew peg 3 witch would normaley be about peg 18 pool number the wind was blowing away from me to the other side of the pool it was less than 3 feet deep to 13 meters started on chopped worm dave had 6 fish before i had a bite.bites were coming slowly came into the margins later into the match caught 1 small carp fished at about 9 meters caught carp steady on caster and worm cocktail caught 9 carp in total fished a preston red ready made rig weighed in 23lb 9oz great fishery

I aint spending hours updating all the various comps etc when only 3 of us can be bothered to look mate.

I was feeling really positive about this match even though it was going to be hard with 17 0f the 18 pegs in the bag.
Having arrived at about 8:30 most members where already having a brekkie

which i did not have time for due to my trolley wheel snapping of last week

made realize how much i take mine for granted

having made 3 journeys and selecting my nets i was summoned all the way back to the tackle shop :( Turns out Frank had done a runner with the money

. Once the bill was settled Frank was told he had to sign for the nets on behalf of the club. 24 keepnets (2 nets at all times) and 12 landing nets for 17 anglers

My peg

Cedric, John Cox and Tony to my right.

Opposite note the tight pegging.

My plan for the day was simple top 2 + 1 which was about 2.5ft deep. Rig - inter 7 4x12 on 3.5 power silk, hook 18 808 tub.
On the hook i used 6m red sonubait and 8ml banded pellets. Elastic for the day was middy 6-8 doubled elastic as these fish bolt of like stink when hooked and you pull out of loads.

I was catching steadily most of match except last 45 mins

Fair play to Cedric who had an amazing last half hour

and Regan the Marginator who was lucky enough to get the only empty peg on the pool next to him
