Simple Match Fishing Forum

Got a place in the Fish'O'Mania ~ Lindholme Lakes ~ Qualifier, end of the month via the reserve list. Never been up to the area before and was wondering what & how much bait to take? I checked the website out and people are catching on most maggots, meat, corn and pellets.

I just dont want to get caught out with not enough but I'm not looking to shell out thousand.

Any of you guys got any tips on a big match bait set up??

hi mate the best person to talk to i would think is Paul yates who has doncaster angling shop and fishes it regularly
with the amount of lakes in you might need a few different baits

That's great cheers Joffmiester, I don't expect to win it with so many taking part on the day. However, watching Tight Lines on Sky, 5 new guys have made it to the final so there's always a cheeky chance. Would hate to miss out though due to a bait error on my part.

I have only fished there once and I was second on my lake (cant remember name) but I caught on soft pellets feeding fishery pellets as suggested by the staff in the tackle shop there. They were very helpful indeed.

Sorry not much help there but I know the different lakes require different methods.
