We had a Image match there a couple of seasons ago...............if my memory serves me well, think The Wedge walked it with 20odd lb with some lumps from down the edge late on.

Nice place, I'd give it another go, but there were the 'usual' moans thereafter ::)

I'd got a fair bit of depth on my feet - seemed to drop straight off to about 4/5ft I think...........could only catch silvers, with a fair few gonks, although a few crap did show around the back end of the pool

MrV was on the 'wide/open' bit - think he did double figures.....

Yeah... several times, even in the cold, largish weights of silvers, up in the water, are catchable, with caster sorting out the better stamp of roach and hybrids ( did a practise there two weeks back, my mate fed a pint of caster, a pint of maggots, and ran out of bait in 3 hours, but weighed 18lb 4 of quality silvers, caught up in the water, also carp late on against the islands are a definate possibility, often on corn. Fishery insist on using both their hook pellets and feeders, personally, I wouldnt bother, corn is superior.
