Simple Match Fishing Forum

Hi all ive just bought a telescopic bolo rod (diawa vip 6mtr) and need to kit it out with rings. the rod dave harrell demo'd in match fishing had sliding rings on each section between a fixed ring. does anybody know where i can buy them as all the shops local dont have a clue. also i cant find any on the net.
any help would be great

Hi Bret,
In order to attach additional sliding rings to your "Bolo" rod you will need to re-ring the entire rod as the sliding rings are wipped on to carbon sleeves that fit in between the fixed rings. Take it to a good rod builder and i'm sure they will sort it out for you.
