the first court case of its kind and is reported in the angling times
a bloke has claimed to have slipped on one of the pegs at decoy lakes apparently he fished from 9am until 4pm and went home a couple of weeks later he phoned the fishery up asking for the fisheries insurance policy claiming he had broken his anckle
the whole case went to court and the angler won the case the fishery had to pay
the angler recieved £4,000 whether the fishery had to pay the court costs but they were estimated to be around £30,000
