JUST HOPE EVERYONE WAS HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS after yet again the organiser went through hell because he changed it from the river to the canal because of the extra water
my eight year old wouldn't of behaved like these anglers perhaps we should provide dummies at every draw
as a result of this one team have already said they will not be taking part next year they would be far better off having a few quid amongst themselves

well done  Image Image

Sad Sad Sad.

All the match organizers do what they feel best for the people entering the match. You can't help the weather for pity's sake and hard decisions need to be taken at times.

lee i know what your saying but i'm not running the winter league bob dyer is  Image Imagewhether he carries on is another matter
i don't like bans but these clashes have to stop
its the the organiser and there club who are held responsible for the safety
his decision should be final if the anglers don't want that decision don't fish simple
its a river league but rising rivers are not to be messed with last year we had high river levels but never a rising river the difference is i had time to move the pegging around to better suited sections but even so if anyone had drowned who would the families of that angler blame and would theses numb-nuts stick up for the organiser NO they'd turn there back on him
well until it happens we won't know but i'm glad it won't be on my watch like bill i've finished with the organising some one else can do it from now on  Image Image

cheers pal
to be fare its a very competitive league and most of the lads are great and will always help with getting to the sections
its just a very small percentage that try and will ruin it if we are not careful. llike you said its one of the best for the fishing whether its canal or river i can see some top weights coming out tomorrow and there are a few different sections in as well
i'm surprised more teams don't want to fish it tomorrow will put all your skills to practice we have fast sections slow sections deep sections shallow sections its got the lot, trouble is the bait bill will be a good one as well  Image Image
i'm glad your lads are sorted now looks like robs doing a good job
i won't be missing the others Image

My kids have been banned for a week first time i have been on.We have two sponsors Fox and Dynamite, Rob has done great, we have a some good young anglers and this weekend will be a eye opener for them. You will need to carry every bit of tackle and bait you own. Every section is different thats why i enjoy the River you could be fishing for Chub Bream Roach Perch odd Tench and carp, you never know until you get to your peg. Never fished little meadow.

i've just spoke to adey reynolds and like he said you just don't know which section you'd want to be in and with only 7 teams the pegging has ruled out a lot of rubbish pegs plus how good is when you get £50 for winning your section[ 6 anglers ] see you tomorrrow
