the trent and mersey canal around northwich was the venue for the forth round of this popular league
this length of cut now seldom gets match fished these days the dession to put a round on here proved to be an exellent match with all anglers getting plenty of bites off mainly small roach gudgeon an small skimmers making it a very good team match
on the individual front it was very tight through all sections leading the field was dave hall with an all roach net of 8-7-0 on hemp and big maggot
next up was ian buckley with 8-2-12 again roach to caster
then came a 3 way tie for third all putting 8-2-0 on the scales
top team on the day was ted carter southport with 56 on a venue they fish in winter putting good knowledge to use
trabucco blue extended there lead at the top over sensas northwest by 10 points to top the league to date on 235

Proper team match that was with loads of roach of all sizes showing  Image , i fished like a right lady thingy and made a right mess of a decent peg   ::)  :-[    Image     Image

a sec will prob be 7 pegs either side of park heath
b sec double s bends
c sec oak tree
d sec long length prob 7 either side of cables
e sec barn (just for dodge)
f sec hinstock wood
just phoned 1 of the wyche lads who is very kindly peggin out an thats were was decided it may change slightly if boats or out are a prob givin better paking an bigger pegs
unfortunately i am unable to fish due to family comittments but will be there to do the draw and take the pools
due to me not fishing i hope it fishes crap rains all day there are 1000's of boats an blows a gale Image Image
