Jeff Moors Memorial Match

Following the recent death of North Staffordshire match angling legend Jeff Moors a memorial match to honour Jeff will be held at Border Fisheries Nr Crewe Cheshire (CW2 5QA) on Saturday 18th September 2010. The draw will take place on the Meridian complex at 9am and fishing will be from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
Jeff had always supported junior angling and to that end his request was that should a memorial match take place the money raised would go to help young anglers
In line with Jeff’s wishes, pools will be £25 with £15 of that going to the Junior Angling Development Centre at Border Fishery. Bay Malton AC has waived any peg fees for the event so anglers will be fishing for a total prize fund of £1,300.00.
There are 130 pegs available and they will be allocated on a first come first served basis. A post match get together will be held at the Thistleberry Hotel, Newcastle, Staffs, where Jeff’s family will be glad to welcome and thank competitors.
