Just a brief update before i get lagered up watching the footy..................it has been horrendous.

62 fished so we had to re-vamp the pegging with 1-35 above the lock and the rest below.

7lb odd won 2 below the lock Tench Bream and Perch.Dave Macall had 5lb odd of roach for 2nd and Fred the bread 3rd.

Its tap water despite a few boats and candocked up.I spent 30 mins just cutting a hole down the middle >:(

Any teams fishing the national gotta bring a spare pole with a cutter on.......its a must :(

Anyway come on England lets stuff the yanks :)

Macca if you are coming to the Vic match on Saturday remember the draw is at the Moorlands pub where you eventually ended up on Saturday :D so as to avoid another 200 mile round trip!

We are fishing the Trent Lock end i will have a word with Wrighty about some maps for parking......and where the pegs are Image

Maps would be a bonus Pete, Capt Mick drew peg 54 Sunday to be told there were 2 peg 54's in...... guess what, he ended up at the wrong one....

The Trent lock end could be interesting opposite the house boats-but with a large turnout expected the pegs towards the bottom of Tammy road may be in-plenty of fish but that cursed cycle track :(

I am fishing with Johno on Wednesday and i mentioned after the match about maps-i will have another dig-its his match i just help out!

Cotmanhay will be hard as theres not so many small fish and its tap water like Dockholme. We used to fish it in the Erewash Valley winter league but had to drop it as too many dry nets.............even with bloodworm in :-[

Peg 13 in the bay solid with Bream. There is a few chub in corky wood but as no one wants to fish there its usually left out.The gudgeon disappeared in the Erewash yonks ago.I remember winning my section at Shipley boat with "stickies" many moons ago-in the Boris era! I think someone said i was weighing a hegdehog in :D

Cotmanhay is a bit like NCB now underfished and full of zoo creatures and as its very clear snappers are a problem.
