Fished patchy,is the water ever going to warm up this year,too many east winds.Canal a foot lower than usual.The pegging from next week is going back to how it was previous,with bad pegs taken out again even if it leaves gaps.The experiment of everyone in a line has failed miserably as i knew it would.The two end pegs dictated most matches and 4 middle pegs virtually devoid of fish.So im not putting anglers on them anymore,after 10 years of running the stretch ive a pretty good idea where the fish are,i certainly know where they arent,and im not willing to put anglers on no hopers just because guys want to be in a line.We have tried to please everyone but it hasnt worked.Anyhow thanks to the guys who fished and well done mal howard with the years best weight ,after a series of seconds this year.He managed to get the hemp roach going.See you next week
