So come on then, lets get some banter on the go. Looking forward to these matches. And after today, 4 hour matches are deffo my cuppa tea. Just the right amount of time IMO(in my opinion)
I hope I can draw lucky on the first match and get some good points in before it goes too cold. I just want to beat Si(me) and that will do me nicely :D
Just go easy on us newbies to the venue Tony ;)

You'll realise that 4hrs is still too much after you've been on a TK grueller :D :D :D

Go easy? Ha - I've got a gear change to do myself fishing with you MD cracks. Might have to introduce a handicapping system ;) :D :P

Heard from Mr V that someone did a decent bag of gudgeon on the KP yesterday - rumour it was all on the paste :D - so that'll suit Si (Me) Image

Gudgeon king will be pleased with that then. Mind you I had a nice net of gudgeon from the canal up Woodbank in Penkridge last Monday. It made a lovely change and they were all big fat un's  :)
If you do get a handicap system can I get in on it please  :P
I thought it was this weekend coming but its not  :-? :(
Just gonna be using white hydro there, bugger them light elastics, white is rated 6-10 so it will do nicely.  :)

Lets just temper some expectations before we all get gruellered :D
looking thru last years results on there, just to bring a bit of sanity to things (and demonstrate how crap we are) :D
TK won first match 3-0-0 in the rh corner peg
Ginger Tom second with 19-4-4 out the gusher peg
The Ginger again with 9 – 15 – 0 off first brambles
Ginger yet again with 3 – 10 – 8 off same bramble peg
Geoff 2 – 14 – 9 off Cashmores corner
Finally TK 7 – 2- 6 off the bend
So there you go - it can be hard - don't say you werent warned :D :D :D

A footnote
Despite the 3 wins Ginger T failed to win the 2005/6 series, finishing 2 points behind KOD

TK makes it up as he goes along.......if youm catching more than me dont be surprised if a few species are disqualified :D :D :D :D

No seriously, no bait bans or methods - just fish to model 'NFA' rules, but you can go walkies if it's a struggle :D :D :D (or fancy someone elses babybelle :D )

Top tip - don't leave the boiling water on it longer than 3 mins or the noodles go too soft and slip off your hook - as with hemp oil - save the pot noodle water for mixing in your groundbait Image

I agree, them are the rules for everyone who has fished there before, so me and me are ok to use hooks :P ;)

yes thats right.

The rules that i saw were

Newbies or if your name is si then you can use a full rig and bait

Fished the series before = no hooks aloud,

framed before = no hook or float

won a match = no hook, no float or no line

Name is tk = no fishing at all
