I am looking into making my own floats,and have just purchased all the gear,tips,balsa,stems,lathe,etc. Imagebeen looking at doing this for some time now during the winter monthes when i am bored ::)i have been spying on other float makers comments and articles on other sites and think its worth a go  Image Image

My main reason for posting this comment is that i would like to give some of the first prototypes out that i make to forum members Imagethe only thing i ask for back is some feedback on the floats and any issues Image Image

budgie i will test you some for you and give you all the feed back. If any one can bend, break,twist one by landing a gudgeon then i can Image :D

What protypes are you making Budgie?

No use me saying I'll test some crap carp floats out cuss I dont catch any Image

But if you knock up a few 'delicate' numbers ;) I'll certainly give them a run out Image

go on you mate i've tryed making my own floats budgie best of luck wagglers no problem i still make a few for the lads as for pole floats i could never get two the same Image i now spend more time doctoring floats i find this a lot more beneficial changing the wire to either thicker or shorter makes loads of differents to the action of the float Image Image

The 1st prototypes are nearly complete Imagejust trying to think of a name for them any suggestions Image

the 1st lot are called DRYNET PENSIONER Floats or should they be Called Cessils Image [smileyImage=rofl.gif] Image Image
