Yup I know thats winning the matches. It won last Saturday when I was there with Maggotdrowners, in fact it was the method used for the top 5 weights.
I ain't fishing it because of 2 reasons.....

I have never fished it before and would want to practice at it first.
I was next to a guy that used 2 big green sensas buckets full of groundbait. The cost is not worth it for the payout of a club match.
I was 17lb behind him. He had all carp and I had all skimmers and bream + 1 small carp. :)

Its a cracking method that I would deffo like to have a crack at, but not this Sunday :D

Well that's too much for me too spend. Sure you win with that method but the bait outweighs the pickup IF you win.

I'm sittin here with a right ol bloody headache again. I weighed 58lbs to finish 3rd today but in hindsight I could have prob finished 2nd if I'd have not messed about so much with other lines, as I was catching the Bream so well and Kelvin next to me I thought everyone else would be too so I was after bigger fish in the margins etc... Ah well you live and learn.

I caught most of my fish at 6m in about 9ft of water feeding pellet and corn and meat on the hook, I lost a couple of good carp and threw a 2lb Bream back as it jumped out of my hands ::)

There's always next time, but I ain't going if it's gonna rain again coz I'm sick of getting in a mess :'(
