Bill already knew it Keef - presume youve received it now unless it's been delayed with the postal strike

I never noticed this one until today, I knew Mark when he used to come to the Burton Mutual Matches on the T and M. The venue was Stretton and all cut cracks used to come, Dave Berrows, Simon Nickless, All the Turners, Ray Mills, Pete Plant, Ivor Everitt, Pete Hargreaves, Tink, loads from wolves area, cannock way etc.
Mark was very good at catching caster roach on the far bank with rod and line. The matches were run by Charlie Mottram. Happy days

I never noticed this one until today,
CWH - I hadnt realised that there now 9 pages of A O Y and was just having a dip into a couple of the early ones just to remind me how they started.
You mention Tink - dont know whats happend to him - he fished 3/4s of my gruellers last year, then 'vanished'

TK, does Digger (the original one who used to catch carp on the canals, Oxford and T and M) still fish with Tink as I have not seen him for 20 years !

You mean Digger Conway CWH?
If so, dont honestly know C W H - sure I've clocked his name on the odd occasion in the results section in the local Express and Star (mind its very rare I buy it)
TBH, till last year I hadnt seen Twink myself for probably 15 years or more
