They are some good fishing but spoilt by kids riding up and down on motorbikes.
These have been changed to another canal I think. Will let you know soon.

i m new around here and ardly ever fish the cut, but with so much of it on "the doorstep", anywhere looneys on motorbike free close as poss to walsall wortha knock,....ta

They are on Rolling Mill Street and Owen road this year and been changed next year.
I have started a new thread with directions. Will do another thread for each match with directions to each venue.
Most of the venues are on the Venue Map on the main website anyway.

I just wanted somewhere to do a bit of pleasure fishing, i work odd hours so could get a few hours in somewhere close
befor the phone rings sort of thing, i looked at the arboretum but didn t fancy it

Mind it's going a bit colder :'(


Think the work on our sections of the W & E was completed a fortnight ago..........but it still might be too blowy down there unless you went down Wood Lane

Rolling Mill Street = spot the drug addict.

Owen Road = spot the dog sh!t in the long grass.(I failed miserably at this one and put my rod bag in a great big pile)

Seriously though RMS is crystal clear but has some big fish in it and owen road is full of fish but the parking is a bit dodgy.

The 'dredgers' were down by Green Lane this morning when I crossed the cut on the way to work

Did you manage to wet a line yesterday?

SI the road system arouind ROLLINGMILL ST/ MANOR HOSPITAL is now back to normal and the one way system that was in place when you fished it last year as now gone and its all back to TWO WAY TRAFFIC
