Yep, meats the bait if you are on the Syndicate pool where they've moved all the carp to from the Priory Pool, leaving Priory as an out and out silver fish venue ::)

If carp are not spawning i think 70 pounds will be needed
You might have to reassess that HaHa........... a lot of cold water to come next week to put a dampner on things

Had a walk round the place yesterday :D. Nobody fishing Priory, so spoke to a couple of chaps fishing the top pool. Thay reckon the Carp are ready for spawning, so they were fishing the "big fish" pool so if they did hook some, they would be decent fish.
Apparently the Rudd and Roach are feeding prolifically on all pools as they have spawned already. Someone had a 5lb 7oz Perch off the peg by the big tree on Priory last week, which was weighed and witnessed. :)
Reading notice board, you must have 2 nets, if not, you cant fish. :'(

Most fisheries these days have a 2 net rule now. Next year it will be 3 nets and so on
