I have heard that on some other forum sites,it has been sugested that just because the world champs is on a venue that has carp in it, we should be sending some of englands better known comercial anglers.
Just because you can put some pellets in a cup and push your pole over to the island and drag a f1 back is not a good enough reason to put on the england shirt.
Should people not be saying, why are some of our england angers
not getting their chance to move up from the euros when they have consistently been top in the team when they have gone to the euros.
I think there is room for a small change in the england team but not from a comercial angler
what is your view

Lets think about it.
Drop Scotthorne...He is crap at Lindholme.
Drop Raison....He really struggles on carp venues.
Drop Shipp....He wouldn't know how to put a pellet on.
Stu and Sean dont seem to do bad either when they venue onto commies.

well i think weem lucky that some of the england regulars are top class commercial anglers too, will raison, des shipp, steve gardner 3 of the best carp baggin anglers ive ever seen no offense to anglers like neil machin but im not sure how well he could manage fishing top 7's with a 30 gramme flat float!!

football players get old and worn alot quicker than anglers ..... this england team we enter into the world championships is probably one of the best international teams ever seen in the history of angling .....
theres not need to change that as all of the anglers are great all rounders
I think its 3 world championships out of the last 4 ..... speaks for itself .....

Good post pj
The current England World Champion squad is a mega well drilled unit ....been there done it, totaly professional in everything they do. I cant ever see a commie angler break into it because blodworm / joker skills play such an important role in achieving success on the international stage. Two commercial anglers for me though who if they fished international rules bloodworm/joker competitions and had some success just maybe could break into the England set up ....... Steve Ringer and Kieron Rich

I've seen some very impressive articles involving Kieron Rich
He can fish the BWorm n Joker a bit methinks
And it was mentioned a few years back that he should of been in the England team, Now he fishes with Dorking I think he would be a very impressive international angler for our country

If you had a sheet showing all the results and points in the weeks practise in both euros and worlds there is a patern that is very clear who is at the top and who struggles
i agree it is a very strong team but its a nice think it could be even stronger
if man city win the legue with out kaka do you think he would be on the bench when he signs

Keiron is a good angler but i think there are a few more likely to get called up.
Polly, Gary Miller...if your after Commie anglers that can fish worm and joker and vice versa how about Taypot or Diddy?

I have to say that i think that you will find that the England team will stay the same for at least the next five years. My guess that the next young angler to fish for England will be Callum Dicks.

About time some crappity smack said something that makes any sense on this thread. Why change 'owt till it breaks.
Some of the suggestions must have come from Joff's joke book.
