VENUE: Drayton Reservoir
DATE: Friday 17th July 2009
DRAW: 11.30am
FISH: 1pm till 6pm
COST: £12 all in
20+ pegs can increase if needed (looks like we will increase)

Entry Fee includes Peg Fee & Pools
@ £6 peg & £6 pools = £120 Peg Fee & £120 Pools

All entry monies to be paid to me on the day.

Pools will be paid out as follows (dependant on full entry):

1st £40.00
2nd £30.00
3rd £20
2 x 10 peg Sections paying 1st in each section by default
2 x £15

Total paid out will be £120

(Above payouts will change as we now have over 20 definatey fishing)

I will supply a shield for this match for the winner of the actual Head to Head which can be used in future years as well.

NO BRAID

MAXIMUN HOOK SIZE 8

BARBLESS HOOKS ONLY

MAXIMUM 6 FISH PER KEEP NET (at least 2 Carp nets required)

NO FISH TO TOUCH THE FLOOR (unhooking mat recommended)

NO FLOATING BAITS TO BE FED (okay as hook bait)

MIDDY SHOCK STICK IS BANNED

All other normal match rules apply but the MAIN RULE IS HAVE FUN. [/center]


As this is a HEAD to HEAD Challenge Match between Mike (angling coach) Conway & Malc (jinx) Doyle (honest he challenged me).

Mike will draw first then Malc will have the peg to Mikes left (unless Mike draws the last peg then it’ll be on the right), then everyone else can draw.

whoops ive fcuked up , i booked the 27th off work for this match . I must of being sobbering up when i read the first date and booked the day off Can we have a match on the 27th as well as i got the day off (justt looked and the 27th is a monday so i didnt even get the day right never mind the date :-[_

It may be possible to park on the grass BUT i doubt it but gear can still be dropped up the Boathouse end and then the cars returned to the car park.

Thats why i've put it as 11.30 draw with fishing from 1 so it gives time for those that fish for 5 hours to get to their pegs and get ready.

Anyway with the draw at 11.30 i wont be there till about 12.30 anyway.

I remember when i used to take Gem down there for a few hours in the evennings and the fish only averaged 8 to 9lb back then.

She never used to manage more than 1 as it took her so long to get that in that her arms were hanging off.

Even had to hold her down so she never went water sking.

She told that once she was fishing there and she was sitting sideways on here box. She had a bite and the fish pulled her facing forward lol. Bless her
