Ha Ha was noticably quiet today, no bank walking or telephone calls. he was on 10 passed the cables and before the off he came down to BDM to tell him that his peg was stuffed with chub across under his bush.
The match progressed and no news from Ginger Tom himself, but news filtered down that he was having a few lacky stretches, but not rub a dubs, they were bream.
The only person reputed to be anywhere with a decent bag was BBC, Bream Basher Cashmore on peg 4 who had one of 2lb, another skimmer of 1lb with another 2lb' er two minutes from the all out whistle. So what did we know? Whilst the scales went up the far end to peg 22, Haha strolled down with his gear and tried to convince people it was 'DW', that favorite phrase of his
BBC had got 5-6lb with his three bream, now too much for BDM's 154 gudgeon, that last one 2 minutes from the end being the 'killer'.
News also filtered down that Zorro had got out of jail with a 4lb plus rub a dub 20 minutes from the end to go with his half pound of bits.
Mr V after a disastrous start off yet another end peg 1 (One day I will draw a flyer
) was owning upto 3lb, but thought he might embarrass himself with that statement and it might only be a big 2lb.
Cotti came back with the best weight so far from the top - 3-4-0
A relieved Zorro turned in 5lb and then Ha Ha came down the towpath with a swagger and smile to own up to 6lb dead. That's the headlines for this new topic thought BDM - The battle of BSS (Bull Sh*t Stanaway) and BBC.
However there was another little twist.................3lb my derrier

Poor old Wedge almost chucked his coveted AT clubman cap in at the end following his 3 oz...........although he'd lost 2 dog chub on his 14 latex that probably would have won it.
