This is a club match But Its a open too so There will be some spaces for others to fish too

would love to fish this venue again. last time we had top pool at very short notice because of a flooded river. It was a great venue and i drew by the stumps, weighed in 21lb and that was 3 fish. I lost well over a dozen beasties snapping my line with ease or snagging me round the stumps,4 slipped the hook and also lost a few foul hookers as they took off like speedboats and i ended up with rather large scales on the hook. I told TK had i taken proper carp line and gear i may have tonned up that day.Big day of whatifs!

If there are any spaces i'd love to fish this again si.

Your names will be put on the sheet, but we need the peg fee's as a non returnable deposit.
The reason been we had a open at Manor farm leisure this year, loads put thier names down and only half of them turned up

Bloody typical because I was second with 87lb and only picked up 20 odd quid

Conna won it with 89lb and only picked up 40 quid

I was looking at the other opens we had and the moneys paid out. The first one at Carneys the winner picked up over 100 quid but everyone turned up on that day.
That was flippin Conna again with my paste

I'd better come along then too if the diary allows - will confirm later in the week.
Mind - I'm pools fodder on these carpie venues........could do with a sharp frost the night before or some other unseasonal weather so it becomes a scratter

Diaries clear that weekend at the mo - book me in SS or put me on Tinkies 'reserve list' (unless its a draw at some ungodly hour!!!!)

The draw is always at 8.30, Fish 10-3. One and a half hours to set up is great

Don't worry about tactics TK, I'm sure Simple will make you some paste and give you a rig to fish with like he did with me at Carneys, which I went on to win incidentally
