i don't know about you lot but there doesn't seem to be much on this weekend i know lee's mob have a winter league clash but other than that :-/not much
i'm off to a new venue for me the grand union at market harborough they tell me its very good they don't allow b/j and its mostly breadpunch fishing with a little chopped worm for the lumps could be another venue for you bill no dog sh#t walkers or many boats at this time of year

I won a match at Market Harborough some time ago Joff with 3 Pike for 15lb on lob worms,pushing Kim Milson into second place,he had 6lb of skimmers.

Wouldn`t mind a bit more of that Colemans Cottage, the bird life down there is unreal, seen a  green woodpecker whilst getting my breakfast and a couple of nice lady lumps whilst getting my tea

whats the point, rather stay here and top up the money jar ready for xmas,havin a bit of a break by staying local this week then find somewhere next week!!! probably bathampton canal 2 day festival.

i was on that match you`re talking about and it was at Northampton not Market Harborough. I seem to remember that you had trouble with pike taking your plummet before the whistle. Also Kim Milsom was pegged in a short pound between two locks (only one in the cutting) and he caught skimmers that had been stocked in that pound that week. Hows ya luck eh!

As for my weekend, I`m watching Liverpool on the telly at lunchtime then i`m off to peg the Cam for tomorrows winter league.
I haven`t been going out for the last few saturdays but will start back again either at Cross Drove or Railway lake at Barford next week. It`s so boring not going fishing on a saturday.
