Don't mind 'em biting me.........it's when they trash your gear........had a top 2 bust by a dog on Wharf Lane some years back, never mind the cow that bust the top foot off my match rod on the Trent once

not a touch on mag TK all on the punch. I think the mags were too big for them bits.
Did you feed liquidized bread .If so how much

fed a full loaf. tangerine size 2 at start 1 every time bites started to slow.

Always on the lookout to learn from others and hopefully in turn provide them with help.

Like to think I do manage to absorb and take things on board, but sometimes at my age it needs a couple of lessons...........

always risky after dogs on your top kit. try a boat rod next time

Not necessarily what I learnt............just one little thing I forgot to start with.

BDMs top tip from the day

Don't always go for that shiny new float that you tied up especially for the match when conditions do not suit.

I'd got far better suited older (shouldered) rigs tied up to fish the 'float under the water technique'

than the one I started with

Hi TK I thought It wasnt a bad match considering the extremly windy conditions, It was hard work for everyone but you have to put up with all these conditions, I will be missing from the next match on the turf at uttoxeter, good luck to everyone, patent pending.
