Change of venue for Sat 3rd March

Following a discussion with the Bass secretary today the match on Sharretts farm is now cancelled.

The rearranged venue is The Wyrley & Essington canal on Pelsall Common. (Park by the canal cottage down the track by the junction with the Cannock extension)

Same bat time, same bat channel................

gutted to be honest !

really hope we can rearrange a match at sheratts farm later on in the season, fishing this stretch of river is one of the pleasures so i hope we can fit it in.

KOD - dont think b& j allowed in cashmores matches, mybe DM and TK could confirm this

Yesteryear Cashmores were affiliated to the BAA. A number of matches were therefore fished on BAA waters, particularly the canal matches.

When the BAA lifted their BW&J ban a few years ago, Cashmores 'followed suit'

We therefore fish to riperian owner's or controlling clubs rules..............if BW&J allowed, it can be used in Cashmores matches. If the riperian owner or controlling club bans pellets, no pellets are allowed in the Cashmores match etc etc etc

So w&j is allowed on Sat.

im sure heinzer was adamant it was not allowed TK when we discussed ir recently in the bar after a grueller match. neither me or massive were sure whether it was or wasnt.

TK has jogged my memory about b& j I think he is correct when he said we followed the BAA guide lines I will check through the minutes of AGM an d let you know, I am sure he is right.

LOL ! I wouldnt have a clue how to use it even if i did have some. At the end of the day ha ha there is no photographic evidence of me using it recently, unlike your good self
