I have to say that I feel a little disappointed. :(

Simon has been good enough to allow Marsh AC some space within this forum for the club's members to use.
Now while I'm aware that not all the members are registered or have Internet access, there are a number that are registered on here and do log in to view it.
Looking through the Match results section there's very little feedback or comment left on any of the matches. :(
It would be nice to read some comments from those that were there on how their day went, whether they enjoyed it? learnt anything or any feedback in general.

Come on folks, lets see some of you making a little more use of your forum. Image

I echo those sentiments on the Cashmores section too Mugger

Plenty of views but very few constructive comments made from the relevant forumites :(

Tony,
It's not just a case of constructive comment, just a bit of general banter would be nice :D .
Being involved as I am with other forums, I realise the effort that Simon puts in providing this forum for the various members, and would just like to see a bit of reward for those efforts in the shape of people making use of the boards ;).

There are 15 members on here linked to Marsh.

Of those 4 are guests who have fished with us once or twice during the year with a total of 52 posts.

7 members have made a total of 15 posts

2 have made a total of 54 posts

2 have made 567 posts.

Bearing in mind that these numbers include posts on other parts of the forum as well. There are several who have never posted on a forum before and although I persuaded them to register and have tried to encourage them to post have only made 2 posts between 4 of them.

There are massive amounts of information that can be gleaned from some exeptionally good anglers on the forum and you only have to ask. I know that a few of the Hankat guys look in on us and would help where they can.

Its hard enough trying to help some of them increase their catch rates let alone getting them to post here. :(

There is one person who wont use a computer and constantly tells me off for giving away too much info to others especially on the internet.  >:(

We do make a very small contribution to Simons costs so come on guys lets use it.

Perhaps the format of the site is confusing.

With so many clubs sharing the space a lot of people perhaps look and contribute to there own club section.

Not a criticism but an observation.

Perhaps an open fishing section with anglers from all clubs combining there knowledge, triumphs and failures together.

I try to look in on most days and have a reasonable knowledge of venues and tactics around me and sometimes wonder whether I should contribute in other sections.

Go for it Keith, part of the fun is being able to wander through the other club's parts of the site and chip in occaisionaly. ;)

Go for it Keith, Im sure the other clubs appreciate that others take an interest in what they are doing and catching. I know I do when others post in our bit.

Anyone can post anywhere on here, Don't be shy, get stuck in :D

The "fishing talk" section is for all fishing chat that does not relate to individual sections. Thats why I post my Goodyear matches in there and other matches like Jinx matches etc that I fish in there.

If you feel like we need another category or board post up your ideas please Image :)

On reflection Mugger, perhaps my original expectations of constructive comments were set a little high…..   :D

But it would be nice to hear from the relevant forumites, what worked, what didnt or any other aspects of how the day went.

At the mo we do get some input on our boards, but this often tends to be from guests or prospective club members    Image

I sometimes feel there is a veil of secrecy.......... ::)
