Next up is Alders on Ash lake. I don’t know what their current regulations are but will post them as soon as I know. I’m not sure if I will be going at this stage but Tony will deputise if I don’t make it.

So who is up for it.

I have had a word with Lewis at Alders this morning and will be sending me details of their restrictions which I will post later.
In brief
No food available
We have pegs 1 to 10 and 27 to 30
Shop will be open but 1 in 1 out pay by card if possible.
If you need maggot let me know ASAP so I can let them know.

I will start the draw/collect money in the car park as soon as I am ready. If anyone is late and I have gone down the hill plese draw down there. Go to your pegs as soon as you are ready after drawing.

The match fee will be £12 this week due to the dayticket cost. PLEASE HAVE THE CORRECT MONEY.

As we are limited to 5 hours the match time will be 10.30 until 3.30. This will allow more time to get bait dip nets and get down the hill.
Only Alders feed pellets allowed.

Although They say 65lb net limit I think we should stick to the maximum of our scales which is 60lb. See Alders rules below.

Alders Farm CLUB MATCH RULES
Alders Farm reserves it position to cease a match (prior or during the event has started) if the site rules are not followed at any point and retain any peg fees which have been paid.
The site will not be held liable for any losses or alleged point of infection, as if our advice is followed it is not possible to contract COVID-19 - especially if all anglers follow our recommendation and wear gloves and a face covering/mask.
• NO CONGREGATING IN THE CAR PARK OR ON THE BANKS

• On match day, all anglers should go straight to their pegs to setup, after visiting the shop if required and DIPPING ALL NETS
Keepnets put out to dry at anglers peg until 15 Minutes before all in .

WEIGH IN
• NET LIMIT 65lb – OVER – 65lb - 75lb will count as 65lb, over 75lb Net DQ
• NO Silver fish to be in a net with Carp, Net DQ without discussion.
• Weigh in - all anglers stay on pegs until they are asked to tip their fish into the weigh in device
• Once fish are tipped in, step back. Fish will be weighed and then put back in the water by the people weighing in
• Do not follow the weigh in around or stand in groups .

• All anglers should stay on their peg until they are asked to bring their fish up once people weighing in have stepped back
• Anglers should then tip the fish into the weigh in device and move back to their peg
• After weighing, one of the 2 who are doing this puts the fish back in the lake
• Anglers should not follow the weigh in and should stay at their peg
• Please remember that social distancing should be observed at all times whilst onsite with us and that all these rules are in place for yours and our safety
• Anyone displaying symptoms of Covid-19, or sharing a household with someone with symptoms, should not come fishing and should follow Government advice

Just a quick point with numbers potentially being on the low side is there anyway of ensuring we get the best pegs possible and avoid being lumbered with the DAM wall?
Personally if be trying to get 1-8 then old nos 38 back to mid 20s the dam won't really compete and if they want pleasure anglers let them go on it.
