The 3rd round of the Oxford Summer league was fished by 7 teams of 6 on the Thames at Dorchester and Benson. The Thames is stilling carrying a good flow but fished very hard and was dominated by small fish.
Individual
1st Matt Herbert - Drennan Bordon - 19lb 12oz. Matt drew top end peg on Benson, same peg has won for last 3 years, and caught bream and skimmers on worm over groundbait on the pole.
2nd Alan Durnford - Sensas A4 Green - 11lb 2oz. Aland drew in the bottom section at Dorchester and had a good net of roach and perch on caster over loose fed hemp and caster on the pole.
3rd Ian Young - Drennan Oxford Blue - 10lb 6oz. Ian was also in the bottom section at Dorchester and had bleak plus a few bonus roach.
4th Steve Townsend - Drennan Oxford Aqua - 9lb 2oz
