Monk Lake 3 13th April 2019

Lake 3 for us today and actually a new lake for Marsh AC.
Well the weather forecast was max 7deg, breezy from the North East; feels like 5deg. Now as you know a hot, still summers day at Monk Lakes can feel cool and breezy - so as for today I leave it to your imagination. Ask the poor guys on on pegs 92-112 who had the wind blowing into their faces all day - easily the worst section with 3 DNWs out of 5. Best section was 113-121 imediately behind them on the other side of the spit where the feeder produced good results for some, this 5 peg section producing 5 of the top 7 weights.
Todays clear winner was Chris T for the second match running, drawing end peg 113, with Gino, Tony W and Josh backing up. Well done fellas.
Result:
1. Chris T peg 113, 150-00lb
2. Gino peg 118, 82-00lb
3. Tony W peg 115, 62-00lb
4. Josh peg 121, 56-08lb
5. Keith peg 112, 49-12lb
6. Simon peg 91, 44-00lb
7. Terry peg 123, 42-08lb
8. Tony R peg 95, 34-00lb
9. Mick peg 99, 25-00lb
10. Chris W peg 101, 19-00lb
11. Dave peg 97, 12-00lb
12. John peg 107, 6-08lb
13= Clive peg 92 DNW
13= Kyle peg 104 DNW
13= Mark peg 116 DNW
13= Rod peg 93 DNW

Section winners 91-103 Simon; 92-112 Keith, 113-123 Chris T. As expected all the section winners came from end or corner pegs.

Nice and prompt Tony.

I think you may have understated the weather slightly. You forgot the hale stones. I still ache from fishing the pole today.
