And.....I think even if not 13 would be good to have the lake so happy to pay a bit more on the day to secure as pegs can be iffy there.

They have put 17 new swims in for the carp guys so the new pegs shouldn’t be iffy. I haven’t been and seen them but I’m sure Terry has been down since.

Yes please Dave, not been there since May so don't know what they've done - might go and have a look at the end of the week.
Clive, you never know as it's the same owners.

Right, just been to Hartleylands for a recce ( not fishing ), although it no longer concerns us not at all impressed with what they have done on Nick's - all the bankside vegetation and rushes have been removed with just a few trees left and the spit with pegs 6/7/8/9 has disappeared completely.
The Res. was quite busy with about 10 on it most using two rods, alarms and chucking to the middle with either the method or PVA bags and bookies - silly people. There are 18 marked swims but no platforms, numbers 1-10 are on the left bank and
go one past the willow tree over there, 11-18 are on the right but now the big willow by the car park has been drastically pruned swims 17 and 18 are pretty lacking in cover but we can decide on the day whether to use them.

Same as Si I don't mind paying more to get the whole lake as we then have a better choice of pegs :tiphat

With a couple of guests that makes 14 so it’s looking good.

One point, they have in the past asked for fish over 10lb to be weighed a put straight back, so If anyone has scales can they please bring them.

Also anyone who needs to put fish on the ground to unhook needs to have an unhooking mat.

Dave - their match rules actually say over 8lb

Also 60lb net limit and a mid match weigh in for 6 hour matches.

Sounds like a pre match chat with the bailiff is in order. :thumsup
