ODAA open Thames - Medley / Folly 08.10.17

Oxford and district open match fished by 40 anglers on the Thames on Medley, Channel and Folly. The river is still very low and clear with very little flow but still produced good weights in a tight match with some big perch showing on Medley.
1st Gary Pook – Daiwa Dorking – 19lb 2oz. Gary drew on the little used Channel section and roach and perch on 13m pole and maggot over groundbait feed.
2nd Carl Eland – Drennan Oxford – 18lb 12oz. Carl drew 3 from the bottom end of Medley and had roach on the pole and caster. He also had 2 large perch and smaller ones on pole and worm over chop worm.
3rd Steve Townsend – Drennan Oxford – 17lb 5oz. Steve drew at the bottom end of the Perch bay and had 2 large perch, biggest 3lb 6oz, on pole fished worm and then had roach on the waggler and caster.
4th = John Beesley – Drennan Oxford – 16lb 12oz
4th = Tom Hobbs – Drennan Oxford – 16lb 12oz
