Browning Central Coventry Canal Winter League 2017

Browning Team Central will be running a Teams of Four Winter League on the Coventry Canal in and around the Atherstone, Coventry, Hartshill, Mancetter and Nuneaton areas.

The dates and proposed venues are:-

Sunday Jan 8th 2017 – Hartshill area
Sunday Jan 22nd 2017 – Coventry area
Sunday Feb 5th 2017 – Nuneaton area
Sunday Feb 19th 2017 – Coventry area
Sunday Mar 5th 2017 – Atherstone/Mancetter

[Fishing and draw locations will be confirmed nearer the time.]

League entry is £40 per team, with £15 pools per angler,
With a ‘random draw’ on the day.

There are no bait bans, Crustaceans, Pike and Zander will not count.

First round this Sunday. Canal fishing well with 17lb winning last match and some good back up weights.14 teams registered so far and some individuals on the day.Looks like being a strong league with some good canal teams involved.

It's not looking too bad mate. It was froze but now thawed just hope we don't have too much rain and it colours up too much.it has been fishing ok with roach and skimmers showingJust under 80 fishing now which I think is great for canal matches nowadays. We hope to give everyone enough space between pegs and leave the known hard pegs out so that everyone can hopefully catch a few.Are you fishing it yourself pete
