Oxford Summer League round 4 Thames Medley and Sandford

The 4th round of the Oxford summer league was fished by 7 teams of 6 on the Thames at Medley and Sandford. The cooler weather certainly improved the fishing with lots of double figures of mainly roach being caught in all sections. Team wise Drennan Oxford stretched their lead with another win in a tight match.
1st Dan McDonald – Devizes MG – 20lb 10oz. Dan drew on the green bank on Medley and had 1 bream on pole and worm and a net of quality roach on 13m pole with tares on the hook over hempseed feed.
2nd Gary Pook – Drennan Oxford Blue - 18lb 13oz. Gary drew at Sandford and had 4 good perch and lots of small roach on a 5m whip and maggot over groundbait.
3rd John Williams – Matrix Talismen - 16lb 9oz. Gary was on the green bank at Medley and had mainly roach on the pole and caster over hempseed feed.
4th Gary Barclay – Drennan Oxford Blue - 15lb 11oz
