I know this a bit early but I will be away from next week until just before this match. Its another new venue for us and I know little about it. Terry and I fished it last year and had some decent fish out and match weights can again be high.
There is a cafe and tackle shop on the main site but it has limited parking. You need to then drive a short distance to get to lake 6. Currently we have the car park bank and part of the spit booked but depending on numbers it may be best to move it to both sides of the spit or even the spit plus a couple of short walk pegs on the car park bank.
Hopefully Tony will monitor this thread and answer any questions.

This is the website http://www.orchardplacefarmfishing.co.uk/lakes.

Dont worry though I will be back in time to be there to collect your hard earned money. :thumsup

Cheers Tony ;D

1. If the temperature is zero outside today and it's going to be twice as cold tomorrow, how cold will it be?

if its 0 deg centigrade that is the same as 32 deg farenheit. if its twice as cold that would be 32 x 2 = 64 deg farenheit. Converting to centigrade is 17.78 deg C.

3. Why do you have to “put your two cents in” . . . but it’s only a penny for your thoughts?” Where’s that extra penny going?

UPDATE
Please note that the Fishery entrance Food Hut/Shop is located in Pearson's Green Road but Lake 6 car park is in Knowle Lane round the back of the complex.
Apparently the main entrance car park has been enlarged so parking should no longer be a problem, there is also a tackle shop on site.
Now the important bit - Breakfasts are available from 7am and last time we were there looked good value, would all those wanting breakfast please confirm as we need to let them know numbers.
A match a couple of weeks ago was won with 312lb with a further 7 anglers weighing over a 100lb so hopefully a good day will be had.
According to the Fishery there are carp to 20lb but the majority are in the 3/4lb range + the usual silvers including barbel.
Net limits are 50lb with a 10lb tolerance so we may need a mid-match weigh-in depending on the day.
Other than that the only rules seem to be barbless hooks and no nuts.

Good afternoon from a very wet Amsterdam. Added Troy,Kris and Simon. In addition to Terrys comments I expect the winning weight to be well over 200lb again. Unless Al turns up when it could be more :facepalm
Now just need to decide what to do tonight, do wesit in the hotel bar or do I take Gladys for a walk round the red light district. :whistle :evil
