Oh well, looks like a bit of wishful thinking on my part, looks like I got the wrong vibes yesterday.

If it's any consolation, the tench and bream were coming out of the clubs canal yesterday down Wood Lane

Perfect weather, great breakfast, brilliant crack and banter, nice pegs........just a shame the fish didn't play ball. Carp everywhere, particularly around the island, and I suspect they were still in romantic mode, or had just finished being romantic. Just one of those days... I never had a bite on traditional carp baits, pellet, corn or bread, everythin I caught was on red maggot at top two to hand. Cracking day all the same

That's as good a report as there is Mr V - if the guys enjoy it, that'll do me. Aok, we all like to 'sack up', but if we did every time, wouldnt life be boring..........it's much more fun on occasions when for example, Heinzer lets rip with a colourful expletive

I could see him blushing from the other side of the pool KOD did well too fishing the "blind" method

Same as mr V could only catch on double red,they did not want any other bait ,fished at 5 mtrs in 6 foot of water for a couple of small skimmers, all the rest on the inside line only.Plenty of carp on the top but even putting a bait to them they was not intrested,saying all that a good brekie and a nice day with a few fish enjoyed the banter and the day

Loads of highlights for me on the day, but one of the best was Dazzler shouting across the pool "I am in 3rd place" ..........He was the 3rd one to weigh in

Well done to Dave ,a good win ther mate ,good points for Mr V team,there is still time for our team or any team to catch you , ( after the river matches )
