A little taster for Saturday...this is from the stretch upstream of Sherrats :thumsup :thumsup

Wednesday saw the second daytime open on the Golf Course section of the Trent at Burton. Another excellent match. First with 22-14-0 was Jim Lifton with a mixed bag of roach, perch and dace, plus 2 bonus pound and a half chub from the top end peg. Joint second on 16-15-0 was Roger Smith and Mick Reynolds, both with mainly roach catches followed closely by Dave Shakespeare with 16-12-0. The 8 anglers who fished landed 116 lb of fish only one not reaching double figures ! Next match is in 2 weeks on Wednesday 12th August at the Golf course riverside car park draw 9-30. Book in with Colin on 07741459636 or Dave on 07896757153

A bit of rain forecast this week, so could be a good match for us :thumsup
