Alders Farm

I have received the following PM from Keith regarding Alders.
"I thought it best to let you know that Alders has suffered a significant landslide which will affect those fishing our match later this year. The lakes and pegs are not affected.
As it stands at present NO Cars are allowed down to the lakes.
The landslide has dropped the road down the hill to where we would normally drop gear off and collect. The impact is that all the tackle has to be taken down by foot and brought back up the hill the same way.
This may impact on the clubs booking and you may decide to switch to a different venue, due to a lot of our members having health issues."
I would not be going as I return from holiday that day.
1) We can go ahead with the match for those able to get their gear to the lake and back. Possibly getting a few locals to increase the numbers if needed.
2) Cancel the booking completely and book somewhere else.
At present we have no idea if it will be fixed but Keiths PM suggests that it wont. We have paid a £50 deposit but as I see it as an access issue outside of our control I would expect that to be repaid. If it wasn't then I would say we use option 1) so at least we don't lose any money.
Need you input so we can decide what to do.
