The arrival weekend of the festival was a warm and dry day, fingers crossed it will hold for the rest of the week. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Bait Tech for sponsoring the festival.

Day one
‘A' section, Pollawyn
Today's winner on Pollawyn was Neil Richards on peg 29 with 83lb 6oz. Callum Dicks on peg 22 finished in second place weighing in at 82lb 8oz. Finishing third on peg 16 with a weight of 69lb 4oz was Giles Cochrane. Michael Rogerson took fourth place on peg 36 weighing in at 65lb 4oz.

In first place on peg 20 was Macauly Pearson with a weight of 96lb 12oz, Macauly fished meat on the short pole. Andy Geldart took second place on peg 27 with a weight of 83lb 4oz. Finishing in third place was Gary Webber on peg 16 with 82lb 9oz fishing bomb and bread. With a weight of 77lb 2oz Chris Albiston finished fourth place on peg 23.

In third place was Shaun Cooke on peg 10 Trelawney with a weight of 110lb 3oz. With a weight of 103lb 11oz was Cameron Hughes on peg 7 Jenny's.
