Tony can you remind us of any special rules and regs for this water. Is it the place we fished before?

I'll check the paperwork I've received Phil and if there are any I'll add them to this topic

Yes its the same venue we've fished for the last two or three years - back 'by demand' (park down the track that runs parallel to the canal) ;)

I remember it well. There has been a move to have it adopted by English Heritage, as a national monument. It's size being favourably compared to any of the standing stones at Stonehenge. It caused quite a stink with the examining committee

Been up Wheaton aston today with the rejuvenated obi ,New pole in tact getting a few out :thumsup struggled myself got a rollicking off one of the boaters for fishing too close to his boat :facepalm.
I think I've got one ov those faces ,you know when your sitting on an empty bus and the local goon walks on n chooses the seat next to ya :facepalm
I've put 28 pegs down ,5 in the short pound even though it was full of moored boats most did move off throughout the day. The water was clear on the inside n you could see the bottom so would expect it to be hard. I've given most pegs 40 to 45 paces apart some a little more to give everyone a chance ov a few fish . :tiphat

Col , In case discs not available , have used my John Bull printing kit to make paper peg numbers for the draw ( 1-30 should be enough ? )

Will bring them Saturday

Trevors Top Angling Tips (#8424) - Can't see how to put your bait only tiny size 24 hooks ? Use larger bait samples and use a size 12 hook.
