The picture above sums up the conditions yesterday very wet, very windy and freezing cold. Darran struggled at times to hold his pole plus loosing his beloved cap in the conditions . Yet the canal fished very well with 27 weights over 2.5 kgs and 46 weights over 1.5 kg fish are beginning to move around as some weights surprisingly came from pegs that hadn't produced in previous round .
Bryan Hawkes had a lovely days fishing slow at the start but as the match went on he found the fish futher over the canal at 11metres mainly Roach and Perch for 6kg 350g all on B/J
2nd John Price made the long journey from the fens worth wild taking a all roach catch of 4kg 850g closely followed by Brett Wilkes [Manny to most on here] with 4kg 450 g . 4th and a tie on weight was Ant King and Tony Marshell both with 4kg 250g
again all roach .
