35 fished. This round was always going to be tricky the weather leading up to the match had been bitterly cold,on the day the lakes were icing as the match progressed, one man who mastered the conditions was former England international Tony Scott drawn peg 13 on Clover he fished 4 and 7metres with casters and pinkies to catch loads of small roach and odd skimmer for a winning 18lb 10oz.
Runner up Andy Taft was on peg 16 on the Carp Lake where he fished 13 metres with chopped worm and caster for 16lb 2oz of mainly skimmers.
Joint third were Steve Hemmingrey and Cameron Hughes who both took 15lb 4oz to the scales.
