Sunday I took a few of our new team members down to walk the sections . Really pleased to pegs had already been cleared on Barrow deeps and pegged out properly top ponds and 1860 will be done later this week . Everyone in the league seam really up for the league and I for one can't wait to fish it . Knowing I have 6 matches to fish
Bucko ran a practice match on kegworth Bonsors and the greens and all look full of fish . With new Teams coming into the league this could be the best we have had Teams like Trentmen have been practicing long and hard after last years disappointment and will want to be right up there . Starlets new to the river will also push hard along with Quorn Leicester and wigston . Long eaton Matchmans supply Loughborough all have new faces this year leaving Bennett's a new group of anglers but old and new faces from the past and present out to enjoy the competition  :tiphat
As you can see from the results plenty of fish are feeding

Where is the Bonsers section? Thus league will probably be the hardest to qualify from with so many quality rivers anglers fishing it.

Ian Bonsors is a very much a bit of the natural river you can get where every peg is different from 2 ft to 8ft . could be a banana skin for a few the reason its in is Brian and his team have sorted access out and cleaned all the pegs and rightly so it should go in .most of the natural river is overground and long untidy walks for trolleys .A few years ago we would of done that and bashed our pegs out but not anymore . :thumsup

Its at the top end where the water board park we will park in the horse field this will be for competitions only barrow boy to see if it works . :thumsup at the moment anglers are worried if there will be anglers opposite on the original side of the deeps :-/ :-/ i don't see many at the best of time as trentmen had to clear all the pegs out . 1860 has the problem of anglers on the other bank and thats a lot narrower .. even the green could have anglers opposite as you know ..
if we done use it we will lose the chance which will be a real shame :-/ :-/
