Drennan Thames festival September 2nd - 4th

The 2nd Drennan Thames festival was fished by 62 anglers from across the country on 3 sections on the Thames at Abingdon, Medley and Culham Reach. The match was fished over 3 days with each angler visiting each venue. The fishing and venues performed well despite having been fished on 3 days running with double figures required to win each section every day.

Zone B ( Medley) - Dave Kirk - Isis - 19lb 1oz

Zone C ( Culham) - Paul Passmore - Devizes - 22lb 15oz

Day 2

Zone A ( Abingdon) - Joe Roberts - Drennan - 18lb 14oz

Zone B (Medley) - Neil Richards - Colmic - 16lb

Zone C ( Culham) - Michael Buchwalder - Preston Innovations - 19lb 2oz

Day 3

Zone A ( Abingdon) - Mark Lindsay - KC Angling - 11lb 12oz

Zone B (Medley) - Paul Passmore - Devizes 14lb 7oz

Zone C ( Culham) - Simon Willsmore - Drennan - 12lb 13oz

Overall

1st Paul Passmore - Devizes. Paul fished superbly well on all three days to finish with just 5 points and a 44-15-0 total weight.
2nd Neil Richards - Colmic. Neil also finished on 5 points but with a lower total weight of 40-2-0

3rd Mark Lindsay - KC Angling. Mark finished on 6 points with a 40-7-0 total.

4th Simon Willsmore - Drennan. Last years winner Simon also finished on 6 points with a 39-3-0 total.
5th Sam Merry - Baitech -7 points and a 33-12-0 total

6th Steve Sanders - Preston Innovations Dorking. 8 points and a 34-5-0 weight total.
