Call 'em, bizarre, funny, ridiculous or just daft, they all have an answer.

1 Sunderland did it in 1979. Villa did it in 1981. Who did it in 1980?

2 Who was the only player to play for England wearing glasses?

3 What Liverpool player's Anfield career came to an end when he dislocated his shoulder erecting an ironing board?

4 What famous player has the unfortunate anagram 'vagina dildo'?

5 In 1995 England played Columbia at Wembley. English football was introduced to the now famous 'Scorpion Kick' by Higuita. The questions are, a Who delivered the shot? and b If it had gone in the net why would it have been disallowed?

6 How much did it cost (admission fee) to watch thr first ever FA Cup Final?

7 Name three English League Clubs that do not play at their geopgraphical location? (there are arguably four - at least).

8 Which goalkeeper was that brassed offat being overlooked by successive England managers he turned out in a league match with 'England's No 6' emblazoned on his gloves?

9 What International keeper had the middle names, Dallas Fyfe?

10 Aberdeenbeat Peterhead 13 v0 in a match. The Aberdeen keeper was an eccentric named Harry Blackwell. What did he do, away from the norm, in this match?

11What International keeper has the middle name, Primrose?

12 What keeper 'gave up the fags' in exchange for one final contract with his club?

13 Still with keepers - who came on the pitch so immaculate he was reputed to iron his bootlaces?

14 Who is the only person to play in the Football World Cup and the Cricket World Cup?

15 What country did Segan B astard play for and what did he do when he retired from playing?

16 In the Rochdale v Scunthorpe Football League match of 2004 play was held up for a while because Neil Edwards, the Rochdale keeper had to have medical treatment. Why?

17 What country did Norman Conquest play for?

18 My favourite trivia ever, - What player 'shat' himself on the pitch in a 1990 World Cup match?

19 Diego Maradona played one match for Tottenham, how come?

20 In 1986 West Ham's Alvin Martin scored a hat trick against Newcastle. What was so unusual about it?

21 Where does Frank Awanka play his football?

22 What current Premiership player has a brother who is a convicted murderer?

23 Another one of my favourites. Algeria, Ghana South Korea and Soudi Arabia have hardly shattered the world football stage but all four belong to an elite great that have achieved what?

24 What is the connection between Chelsea players, Eden Hazard, Garry Cahill and Fernando Torres. All three also have the same connection with something on the Chelsea crest. What is the connection?

25 What player received a card from the referee (a red one!) on his 28th birthday in a World Cup match?

26 Player and country needed. He scored a hatrick on his debut, two goals in his next match, two in the next and one in his fourth match. He only played in these four matches and was never selected again. He scored them all in the World Cup?

27 This current played had to receive naturalized citizenship before he played for his adopted country France. Who is he and what are the circumstances?

28 Who was the least capped player of England's 1966 World Cup winning team?

29 Name the only player, he has played in the premiership this year, that you can spell his surname with Roman numerals?

30 What current Premiership keeper has the middle name Maria?

There you go, still laughing at 18 :rofl :rofl

16- was bit by a duck.

Right with both, Michael Stansgaard or something like that was his name!

Here's a little cracker.
FA Cup. What two teams drew each other in the very same round of the FA Cup three years in succession and the result was identical (even the goals scored and the winners) every time?
No catch but a good q!
I'll have a go at your now but nothing springs to mind straight away!

Not Everton Liverpool

Huge clue is that all three matches occurred in the 1950s.

There is no catch whatsoever. I was asked this and I didn't get it - nowhere hear to be honest, the 50s is a massive clue but you could try for ever if you didn't know that (I didn't at the time).

Here's one equally as good, if I haven't asked it before.

The home international, that were. Count Ireland as one team for this purpose.

Name one player from each country that played in the home internationals who had a surname ending in I (i)?

You need one from England, one from Scotland, one from Wales and one from Ireland (counting north and south as one), - this is one to remember because as far as I know there has only been the four, remember home internationals, they haven't played them for a few years since. You will be looking back to the 50s, 60s, and 70s and you will almost certainly have heard of all of them :)

Scotland - Lou Macari

complete shot in the dark for the fa cup question - Newcastle, because they got to 3 finals, so were in the hat more than any other team and haven't got a clue about the other !
