Oxford Summer League practice Radley

The practice match for the next round of the Oxford Summer league was fished by 28 anglers on the River Thames either side of Radley boathouse. With the Thames still carrying good summer flow and colour a good match was expected and the Thames certainly did not disappoint.
1st Steve Bibby - Tubertini South - 23lb 12oz. Steve drew 6 below the boathouse on a known chub peg and set his stall out to catch chub on the open end feeder with hemp and caster and has small chub but a change to double sweetcorn resulted in 4 large chub biggest spawned out 5lb 14oz.
2nd Steve Townsend - Drennan Banbuty Gunsmiths - 23lb. Steve drew downstream below the pink boathouse and had all roach on pole and caster over groundbait.
3rd Paul Passmore - Devizes - 19lb.2oz. Paul drew 3 above the boathouse and he had 1 bream and some perch and small chub on the chop worm feeder and then had skimmers on the pole and maggot over groundbait.
4th Gary Barclay - Drennan Banbury Gunsmiths - 15lb 2oz
5th Richard Rosinski - Sensas A4 - 14lb 9oz
