Hawford Bridge Rules

Please do not put keep nets into the water until 10 minutes before the start of a match - they should be clean and totally dry

Please use a mat and tripod at the weigh-in

Fish for 5 hours only, please do not 'fish on' after your match,

BAITS

NO FLOATING BAITS
A maximum of 6 pints of feed to be used
MAGGOTS - CASTORS - WORM  - CORN - LUNCHEON MEAT - PELLET ---NOTHING ELSE TO BE USED



Luncheon meat can be used on the hook - not fed
Please purchase our feed pellet at £1 per bag
Use your own hook pellet (not to be loose fed)


no method feeders or adaptions
no fixed rigs, no back stops up the line e.g bolt rigs
ledger and feeder hook length 12" minimum long
shallow waggler - max 1cm thick, min 4" long, hook lengths 6" minimum

16mt pole limit
no floating poles, tapping, slapping, windmilling,  a manufactured float must be used when pole fishing
no feeder fishing using the pole
all fish to be netted,   on REDDINGS, any fish caught under 2 inches must not be netted, they must be released

there is a strict 70lb to a net rule - any over weights will not be counted
silver fish to be in a seperate net
2/3 nets required

Hooks should be no bigger than a 12 and barbless

No more than 25lbs (approx) of fish to be put in the weighing in net at one time.

Do not tip/drop the fish back in the water from waist height, swim them out,

No keep nets except in matches.

A current rod license is required.

Do not enter the water for any reason.

Do not park alongside the pools, use the designated car parks.

Please take your rubbish with you.
